My approach to teaching is ambitious and planned according to the level of the individual student. This means that my classes are highly individualised so that everybody is sufficiently challenged. My attitude is that teaching should be challenging so that you, as a student, are inspired to push yourself into new places.

I am the only teacher of Shadow Yoga in Denmark. Shadow Yoga is a very demanding and intense form which can be practised by the experienced yogi, but also by the student who has tried for example ashtanga, but who has been frustrated by the teaching because you were not born with a particularly supple body. Shadow Yoga uses techniques from Tai Chi, Kung Fu and ancient Indian dancing traditions. In the beginning  focus will be on strength, endurance and mobility of the hips, the back and the stomach. From here suppleness in the rest of the body will follow.

I insist that there should be room for laughter and concentration in my classes, but I am not cut out for solemn spirituality.

I am the happy graduate from Yogacampus in London – a very extensive course certified under Yoga Alliance and British Wheel of Yoga. Instead of focusing on a particular school of yoga, it is very comprehensive, covering anything from anatomy, treatment of injuries and physical adjustments to educational theory, philosophy and mysticism.
